Ms. Hanson you have been found guilty of multiple charges including arson, and bombings. Do you have a final statement.
Anne: I do When I look back I realize that I have learned lesson. That the courts have nothing to do with justice and prison is where they punish victims of this society.
In 1982 Ann Hanson,members of Direct Action and the Women’s Fire Brigade acted with dynamite and fire to stop egregious environmental and social consequences of the continued unfettered actions of Litton industries, the Red Hot Video Chain and B.C. Hydro. Working to build a larger movement of underground resistance they aimed to stop the violations continuing where years of lobbying and quote "peaceful" tactics had been unsuccessful.
